Looks like a handy little camera you've got there Ben! Looking forward to seeing it used on some 'Gnar' when the ribs are better. :)
Anything you can do to turn the wind noise down a few stops? Maybe a bit of sponge on the mic?
I will ask him. Either way, it's on my shopping list. A colleague of mine just bought a very similar one from eBay for under a tenner, shipped from HK. It looks like it's a clone. It will be interesting to see if it works as well as this one does.
I was going to get a CountourHD from the US as we had family visiting but I don't know if I would use it enough to justify the cost.
I am riding in the Peak District on Sunday and will get some proper footage then. I will post that up afterwards to see how it copes with low light and also rocky technical descents. I am going to keep with the same mounting position just to compare it to this.
@Ben - The Peaks? With busted ribs? Are you insane? Anyway, if you do go, why not try the foam/sponge trick Max recommended to try and cut wind noise on the microphone?
